LAKE AMENITIES

Canoes, life jackets, paddles... we've got it all! Just bring your own smile and we will mix in the water. Cooking Lake is only a short walk down the path from the main Van Es campus. Once at  shore, there are trails leading to the wetland bird observation area, a bird-watching info board, a cleared area with a fire pit, and other beach activities you may participate in. Or simply pull out a towel, take a dip, and enjoy the water and the sunshine!
