Whether you are looking for a place to revitalize your team, or sit quietly around the campfire to renew your spirit, Van Es Camp & Conference Centre offers both the setting and facilities to meet your needs. Located just 20 minutes southeast of Edmonton on 100 acres of secluded wooded land on the shores of South Cooking Lake, Van Es Camp & Conference Centre is ideally suited for business, family or group events.
With modern banquet facilities, an indoor swimming pool and hot tub, an auditorium, a quaint historic chapel, and miles of nature trails, VECCC is well-equipped to host up to 200 people for daily events. Rustic cabins are available for overnight accomodation year-round.
Founded in 1940, VECCC has been an important part of the ministry of the Moravian Church in Canada. Each summer, camps for grades 1 to senior high are offered through the Moravian Church, but are open to all children. The conference centre and camping facilities are available year-round for rental at reasonable rates and are ideal for the following:
- Staff meetings and professional development days
- Birthday parties using the indoor pool
- Family reunions in the food services building and auditorium
- Weddings in the chapel
- Workshops and retreats
